She has been a resident of Scarborough for 30 years and has lived in the KGO community for 7 years. She has previously worked with adult learners at West Neighbourhood House and The John Howard Society of Toronto. In her spare time, she likes to draw, paint and read a good book. Phylicia currently works as an Instructor Coordinator at a national literacy organization. She has an Hon. BA in International Studies and is currently pursuing her M.Ed in Adult Education and Community Development at the University of Toronto.

Mercy Ukposidolo is the Curriculum Advisor for the KGO Adult Literacy Program. Born in Nigeria and raised in the UK, Mercy completed her Hon. B.Sc in Human Biology and Psychology and B.Ed at the University of Toronto. She is an OCT Certified Teacher and teaches Grade 4 with the York Region District School Board. She likes to volunteer at her local church as well as with local community organizations. An avid athlete, she just completed her first duathlon.

Jasmine Wallace was born and raised in Toronto. She started training in Tai Kwon Do Karate at eight years old and all throughout high school as well as college I was one of the lead instructors teaching students. She have traveled to over 25 countries and cities since the age of seven years old. She graduated from Centennial College with as a Law Clerk. She is now working at an insurance advisory firm and is currently studying for her brokerage license (LLQP). She has volunteered with the Big Brother Big Sister program and has been part of KGO-ALP since March 2015. She enjoys helping others and knowing that she is helping improve someone's life for the better.

Khliden Lamparero is a placement student from the Learning in Community Service course at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus. She is currently in her third year pursuing a double major in Mental Health Studies and City Studies. Khliden has received a volunteer appreciation certificate from MPP Mitzie Hunter in recognition of her volunteer efforts in a local nursing home. She is also a fitness enthusiast and likes to experience various outdoor physical activities. Khliden joined KGO ALP in January 2016 because she believes that continuous learning is important to anyone, regardless of their age.
